i went by 2 speed traps and the fuzz buster warned me up with a shriek well in advance some false alarm but the sound is different so you get used to the real alarm pretty quick

great radar.saved my butt several times so far very worth the money ,love the gps features with lifetime subscription you will have to pay double to get anything close to the performance of this radar..would buy again if i had it to do over ..5 stars...

i love the lcd display, it is very helpful. you can turn features on and off and decide between city or highway. i love the red light camera warnings. my husband loves it too.

This radar is extremely good. I pick up signals from distances that could not be imagined. The side attachment piece is amazing with all its capabilities. This radar surpasses almost every radar i have used and or seen. I would place this right next to all Valentine radars, just as good over all.

If you are mounting your Power Inverter in your Vehicle and want to turn it on from the Dash or up front under the hood, this remote switch for your Cobra Inverter will keep you from lifting the back seat where it is mounted to turn it on or an extra trip up under the hood.

This product is very useful and convienent for turning on or off a cobra inverter that is in the trunk of a vehicle. The cable attached, is long enough for placing the remote swich in a location that meets the users needs. Power inverters can drain a battery after a period of time if left on and unattended especially when the vehicle's engine is off. To have a remote in a covienent location is a plus!

this remote helps me to turn my inverter off it works great and for the price the have it at it it worth it and plus you gt the job done right

I was putting a system in my RV for dry camping and this works nice to turn inverter on and off from inside my RV. It's basically a phone cord and easy to route and install. Looks nice too and is a very slim design with nothing sticking out to run into. Very Nice!!

We bought this thinking we had to have it for our higher power inverter. We did not need it. However it let us turn the inverter off and on from either side of the vehicle, which when you are using the inverter a lot for various things, it is nice. Just want to mention. The indicator light can be hard to see during daylight as it is glowing through from behind the face panel. It is tempting to cut a hole around it.

I returned this item. It was constantly triggering a laser alert when I was driving by pharmacies that actually have x or k band security systems. It was also going off whenever I accelerated from a stop. I suspect something must have been loose inside the unit. I upgraded to the cobra digital display with voice alert and that unit works fine. The vendor did honor my return despite a rather restrictive sounding return policy.

Today, I was doing about 85 on the freeway. Traffic had caused me to slow down right before an overpass. A cop was hiding on the on-ramp. Right after I passed the overpass, my Cobra ESD-7400 detector gave me the k/ka alert. If I was still speeding, I was toast. The only thing the detector did was start beeping about 10 seconds before I would have been pulled over. Save up a little bit more and get a real detector, such as a Whistler, Valentine One or Escort - they'll pay for themselves the first time they give you an alert a mile before this piece of junk makes a sound. This (and other cobra radar detectors) leak k/ka and set off false positives on other detectors too: [...].

The detector is very slow on detection. The alert volume was dropping too fast, and did not match with the distance of the object. It is difficult to tell what it was alerting.

It worked just fine the VG2 spectre was a must have on this trip 3800 miles there and back no speeding violations.....I must have detected 20-30 tags all with plenty of warning, best 38.00 dollars I have ever spent.

This product is all that it is described to be. Good all-round detector, nice size, good windshield mount. Although not a pricey high-end detector, it works really well and has most desireable features. A great value for the money.

the radio seems durable but heavy. communication range works well w/o obstruction for up to two miles..although, i needed a weather/water proof radio and this one failed right off when a small splash slightly cover the system. static began immediately and now doesnt work at all. the battery needed to be disconnected as well since it pops even in off position. the Cobra customer service has been difficult to reach and a replacement or repair for the specific radio takes way too long for my business and non-submersible (although states submersible) is usless in boating conditions.

Easy to program, easy to use. Transmits and receives loud and clear. AC/DC charging capabilities. unbeatable price. winner winner winner!

the radio works great and in my opinion was a great value it exceeded my expections in all areas except for water proofness. but i also relize that it's not waterproofness that lead me to buy this radio. i've always been satisfied with cobra radios. i'm completely satsified with my purchase!

Even better than I expected. Great receptiom and transmitting range and truly waterproof. So much in such a small unit.
