The camera is good but only if you have BIG screen to view it on. My other problem is that things appear too close then they are.

Put this on my 2005 tacoma with a pioneer avic D1. Bought it because it was cheap ( should have known better ) worked great for a month or two but then after a few rains and some car washes it is done! Why would something made for the outside of your car not be waterproof. Gues I am going to by the pioneer camera now. Audivox was always the bottom of the ladder when it came to electronics, guess this just proves they still are.

I purchased this to go in my 07 Ford Five Hundred hooked into a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD In-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver. Instructions were thorough and install was a breeze. Quality of the picture is not absolutely perfect but it is very good for what it is meant to be used for. I highly recommend this camera.

until it rains , keeps this one tucked up inside something on my mitsu galant it was underneath the chrome lip over the tag,,started to notice a little haze moved it to the hitch on my 4 ruuner 2001 , the camera is now filled with water, currently looking for a water proof replacement

Bought this for my 2006 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6 Speed MT With Navigation - Figured this would be a great addition to my navigation screen and be useful for when I park on the street in tight spaces! This thing comes in handy, and I find myself trying to find tight spots so i can see how close i can get, it really is useful! Its also great for backing out of populated areas when you cant see small children etc. behind you, gives you more peace of mind! I will say this, since my trunk has a DVD tray (for my navigation) with a connection already pre-made on the rear of the tray for this type of installation, the hook up was a breeze! Actually trying to feed the long power cable through the trunk gave me more problems than actually hooking up the camera itself! **One thing i suggest is going for some 3M Outdoor All-Weather tape instead of drilling through the trunk, worked for me and no holes and holds like a champ!!!! The installation was very easy, especially with the supplied wire tapper which made connecting the reverse light power wire on my taillight and the power wire on the camera sync in one easy snap literally - The picture quality is great, wasn't expecting HD quality but its def very very good color quality, and the wide angle viewing (while it looks stretched on the screen) is actually very useful for judging and seeing things all through-out rear of the vehicle - Night viewing is great as well results might be different as its not a night vision camera but i positioned it under the plate lights for extra exposure and what a difference - The all weather was a concern, but went through 3 bad rain storms and even a high pressure car wash with no problems to report (not even condensation which i was really worried about) The reason behind the four stars is because i noticed the small screws holding the camera on the supplied bracket are already starting to show signs of rusting, but really its no big deal because its the screws (which are very small) and not the camera - Def one of the better cameras on the market for rear-view - viewing ... One last perk of the camera include it coming with multiple installation brackets which make it very versatile to mount just about anywhere and it is easily rotatable on the bracket (i positioned mine so i can see a fraction of my bumper for reference purposes when parking)-

First off, I have the VM9022HD head unit and have had it for a little over a year. I've been very happy with the head unit. I own a TomTom ONE XL S and while I do like it, it has had several problems. So I decided to give the NAV2 unit for my VM9022HD a go. At only $200 it's a great deal. My TomTom cost me $230 when I purchased it new a few years ago. They are still over $100 today. I received the Nav2 unit from Amazon in about a week from order and it was packaged really well. The unit comes with a huge manual and a quick ref. guide. I didn't need either. The unit is so easy to install. The hardest part is doing the work of routing the cables in the dash and finding a place to put the nav2 box. The menu system is simple to understand and use. Everything is well labled. When you switch to Navigation from radio etc. there is NO WAITING on the sats. like there was when I turned on my TomTom. Man was the TomTom slow. When you set a destination with the nav2 and you get close to a turn, it splits in to a dual screen with the main nav map on the left and a map of the next turn on the right. This makes the street name etc. much clearer for you to see. It's a very cool unit for the money and is a great add on to a great head unit. I also like the fact I no longer have to have the tomtom hanging from my window. It's one less thing cluttering up my window/dash. I would recommend this to anyone.

I am having all types of problems with my navigation system. For on the company I purchased it from is hard to contact. I don't have any info on them.... But the problem with the product is I just moved to DFW area and everytime my navi have to recalulate it freeze up and I am lost like a blind man in the forest. If amazon is reading this review please get in contact with the company that sold me the navi so I can be satisfied with my product.

This unit was very easy to install and finds the satellites quicker than my year old Magellan. Its very easy to use and look awesome. Maps seem pretty current and same with POI.

Great Nav. system work as advertise,will recommend it if you own a jensen sound system.

When I decided to get this unit, there was only 1 review that I could find for it. Even with the bad review, I decided to give it a shot. I installed it on a VM9022HD unit. Install was very simple.. the hardest part was looking for a location to conceal the unit. No need for power since all is coming via the "bus" cable from the head unit. Prior to closing up the unit in its location, I decided to test to see if it actually works. If you follow what the instructions say, it may take up to 5 min to work the first time. The unit has its GPS location in less than 30 seconds. The nav software is up to date according to the Horizon Nav website. The maps have all the newer streets that my 2 year old garmin unit does not. I have tried the navigation sofware, and seem pretty good. In some aspects better than my nuvi 680. The only reason that I do not give it 5 stars is that unlike my nuvi, you can not get live traffic. POI seem pretty current as well. Previous reviewer might have just a bad unit.

Jensen's portable GPS device is nice,although usage as a pedestrian during inclement weather is not entirely reliable as the satellite signal tends to disappear.

Affordable GPS though being discontinued by the manfacture I recommend the product. I found it easy to use and well made

It was my first GPS device and simply love it. Unlike many more expensive models, that take a lot of time to learn to use, this could not be easier to learn to use. Garmin and other companies could learn something when it comes to ease of use from this device. could not be any easier to use. Only drawback is the data is a little dated, so new and rerouted roads do not show up. Also wish it had a remote, but for the price, you can't beat it.

I travel all the time and my Jensen travels with me. Even locally because it makes it easy to find places to eat or stores at the end of my hand. For the price, I can beat this product.

The maps on this unit are from 2004 and 2005. There is no update available for them. Consequently the GPS is constantly showing your position in the middle of a farm field or telling you to drive off a cliff. The Canadian maps are all off by at least 1000 yards, so even when you're on an existing road it doesn't know where you are. The manufacturer has been promising an update since 2007 and it has not and most likely will not ever show up. So unless you have money you want to throw away, don't even think about buying this item. 0 stars!

I am very pleased with this product there is nothing I cab say bad about it!

This unit is great. Came with 2006 maps. I called Audivox and they sold me an update cheap. The unit was discounted for a reason, it had older maps. If you are a suer and do not research this before hand, that is your fualt.. nothingis free... Wish other buyer would think about that. I also learned this unit is supporting 10 differant regions around the world. Jensen is not out of the nav bussiness, that is bad is just a lie..

I called Jensen for support, poor support, mapping for USA and Canada only, poor Quality, this is my second in dash Jensen, will never buy Jensen again. You lost a customer.

I've been using the Jensen Nav101 for a couple of months with a VM9512HD system. I like the navigation user interface but feel the route selection is not that great. One thing that bugs me is that if you want to do navigation without sound so you can listen to the radio without being interrupted constantly - there's no way to do that. Even if you mute the navigation sound, the nav101 will still barge into your music and play nothing. I'm also not too happy about that fact that map updates dont seem to be available so after a couple of years it might be too outdated to be useful.

Although the maps are slightly outdated, and it sometimes has a delay, it is very convenient for me because it runs right through my Jensen VM-9412.

A well written book. Excessively concise. Too much material on the RF Front-end, when the main expectable focus would be the base-band. The book does, however, serve its purpose well.
