Humminbird 7200021 PC 10 6-Foot Power CableReviewsProduct as expected. Always search for the cheapest pirce. The product is the same if advertised as new. I found an old depth/fish finder in a bass boat I bought but it didn't have a power cable -- checked Humminbird and they had the power cable but Amazon beat their price considerably. By the way the old fish finder works like a charm! Product works as advertised. Should be of more sturdy construction so replacement wouldn't be needed quite so soon. We connected this to a Hummingbird 636 I believe is the Model and it works just fine, thanks alot. Don C It seemed as if I ordered the cable one day and it was here the next. Great service. Exactly what I needed. Average Rating:![]() |

NorCross HawkEye F33P Fish FinderReviewsLove it, Love it, Love it. I now fish where the fish are. Back in the OLD DAYS I din't have much trouble finding fish. It's a different story now days. This little fellow works just great and is a lot of fun to just play with ( if it's too hot to fish ). ""wish I had one years ago "" screen doesn't show the actual bottom, not designed to show individual fish(as stated in manual-then whats the point of the finder???) directions show that you need to fish between the boat and the floating sonar...but you cant do a cast/retrieve at that short a distance. this product is not worth the money. i never received mystuff and amazon will not replace becuase they lost it in the mail and will not send me another thank you. I was hesitant at first to order this, because of the low price. I thought it must be junk or poorly made to be so cheap. Man, was I ever wrong. I turned it on, cast it out by hand and within seconds it started giving me the depth readings and showed debris on the bottom. Then a fish came swimming by, then a bit later two fish, next to each other. All I have to say, is it's a great item. I love it! It's high quality made and worth much more. I believe it out-performs fish locator's that cost several hundreds of dollars. After receiving the fish finder I wanted to test it out in my swimming pool. Well the readings were erratic and didn't make sense, so I thought it was a bad unit. A call to customer service got me right through to a rep and he explained that the unit will not work properly in a pool. He said in fact, that it was a good sign I was getting those readings because it showed the unit was working. Sure enough, the next time I used it was on the water where it worked perfectly. Great US customer service from this company. Average Rating:![]() |

Norcross Hawkeye D10D Depth SounderReviewsIf you are looking for a good depth sound, get the Hawkeye. It works great. Don't even think about the Humminbird one. Can't read below 10 feet. Believe me it's junk. Go with the Hawkeye. I purchased this unit to replace an older dash-mounted depth sounder, hoping to use it with the existing through-hull 200 Khz transducer in my 1984 Grady-White Tournament. The unit works as advertised, but I did not succeed with the old transducer. This is likely due to a fault with the old transducer, and not a problem with the Hawkeye unit. The transducer supplied with the unit works fine, but positioning it properly inside the hull in the bilge has been difficult, with less than perfect results so far. I am still experimenting with finding the best accessible spot. I have not tried the transom mount, mainly because the boat is in the water at present, but this might be a better way to go for most folks. In summary, the unit works fine, but the transducer installation may be challenging. It was painless to install, works great, keeps accurate readings even at higher speeds warning you from running aground. This product works great. Mounted mine in the hull for protection since my last externally mounted transducer was damaged. Before buying the Hawkeye I had a Humminbird equivalent which did not work very well. I have been very happy with the reliability of this product. I definitely recommend it. Norcross Hawkeye D10D Depth SounderThe perfect sounder for our 2100 LXI Commander boat. Humminbird XNT 9 20 T Transom Mount TransducerReviewsHad to replace a damaged transducer. This was a "drop in" replacement and of excellent quality. I use this in a deep lake that can go over 500 ft. It goes from 500 to less than 20 and back without missing a beat. Highly recommended. The brand new transducer Amazon sent to me has a problem with the temp sensor. I contacted Humminbird and after just a few moments they determined it was defective. After I notified Amazon of the problem they wanted me to send the transducer back to them and they would send me another one. For the average person that might be alright, but I fish almost everyday. I have been without my fish-finder for two weeks and I am not going to be without it any more. Since the problem is their fault I feel they should send me a replacement and I will send them back the defective one. Based on this experience I feel that Amazon is not customer oriented and does not trust anyone to do the right thing. I am very satified with Humminbird and their equipment but I will not use Amazon anymore and will do all I can to make sure everyone knows how I feel. Works as expected as a replacement transducer for my PiranhaMax 215. This is the one with the temperature reading (T). I had to replace my original because a squirrel chewed through the cable in multiple locations! The XNT 9-20-T works great. I found it easy to install and setup. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I used a small L-bracket to mount the Transducer to the transom of my Zodiac boat. This was due to the 3-inch overhang at the bottom of my transom. I have purchased numerous products from Amazon. This one, like all in the past was as advertised. It is the same transducer that came with my Humminbird originally and worked flawlessly when hooked up. Shipping was fast also! Average Rating:![]() |

Humminbird 7400771 MS M Mount SystemReviewsused this on our hummingbird 100 and works just fine. Very good quality as is all Hummingbird products. The mount is a very poorly designed piece of plastic. It will not rotate at all, it has VERY limited forward tilt capability, it has VERY limited backward tilt capability,it is difficult to release the unit to remove it, the depth finder goes off from loss of contact when you hit waves and when the unit is not on it the contacts are sitting in a completely exposed position(unless you buy the OPTIONAL cover.) It is simply a terrible design overall and I'm surprised that it is still around. I'm even more surprised that anyone could give it a 5 star rating. John Mills I was very pleased with how easy it was to mount this base for my unit. I am very happy with how easy it is to remove my unit from the base without having to un-hook the different cables. Got this to allow me to move my Humminbird 798 ci SI unit from the driver's side to the bow. Works like a charm! Average Rating:![]() |

Hummibird MC W Mount CoverReviewsBought two, one for the console and one for the front. They work good and I've had no issues. Removing the fish finder for transport is a good idea, but what about the connections? This keeps them from filling up with bugs and dirt while you tow. Highly recommended. This little cover seems like a throwaway and could easily be replaced by a piece of cardboard and some duct tape, but for the price and what it does, it works perfectly. You probably don't need it if your boat parks under a canopy, but mine is in the open, so having this keeps the rain from the connections. Being someone who believes electricity sits in a wire after the power is shut off, I figure anything to keep the power connections from rusting can't be a bad idea. This little rubberized cover works perfect when the boat is in storage and the fish finder is not in use - it keeps out dust and debris. It does not have a tight enough fit that I would trust it to stay on while towing though. Fits snug, but I would not keep it on when going down the road unless you add a rubber band to hold in place. I knew this before ordering. Does what it is suppose to do and that is to keep the elec. conections clean. Great product that should of came with the bird... Average Rating:![]() |

Humminbird 788ci Color Fishfinder Combo with Internal GPS and DualBeam PLUS sonarReviewsI love my new Humminbird 788ci fishfinder. I have used it three or four times now trolling for Kokanee. I wasn't sure that I really needed GPS for fishing in a lake. I knew I didn't need it to find my way back to the boat ramp, but it is so easy to mark a spot where you catch fish or see a lot of fish and then come back to that spot that I wouldn't want to fish without the GPS now. The fish ID works great also. You can see how many fish are there, what their depth is and realitive size. It is so much fun to use that my fishing buddies want to drive the boat so they can watch the screen which has great color and is easy to see all the details even in bright sunlight. I use the split screen with GPS and fish ID screen most the time. It is easy to switch back and forth between screen views with a push of a button. I purchased this unit for my small boat. Convience of not having an external antenna & some place to put it. So far I've taken the unit out on 2 trips. The GPS features are great ! (No more hand held for me) But I have yet to get the unit to find the bottom or any fish (I'm sure it's user error) Humminbird support it the way to go if you don't understand the book fully. Unit & buttons are user friendly. This unit will do a lot when I get familuar with it. The one drawback that I have with it is: it sucks the juice out of my little battery. (I fish out of a skiff and therefore try to stay as light as possible) And the 25 hp 4-stroke Yamaha I use doesn't have charging capabilities. So I'm going to a larger battery. This thing is garbage ! ! ! After a few times out with it the sonar failed to work and I called humminbird and they told me it was a software problem that they were aware of and there was to be a fix in a couple weeks ! what the heck good does that do me ?If they were aware of the problem then how can they sell it ,defective as it is ?Humminbird 788ci Color Fishfinder Combo with Internal GPS and DualBeam PLUS sonar Arrived on time and installed easily. I've only used it once, and haven't had a chance to use it with the Navionics softwear because my son has the boat at his house. If it all integrates well, it might be a 5 star rating. I would reccomend it. Overall decent unit, but some poor choices made in the software. Navigating through menus is harder than it needs to be. There is no way to customize readouts on anything but the full screen sonar view, and this baffles me completely. The view I'd logically use most is the combo chart/sonar view, and it would make far more sense for me to keep my voltage and a clock on display than the useless lat/long & compass heading readouts. It would only be a small modification to software, but Humminbird didn't think like a customer here. Poor design choices drag down what could otherwise be a very nice unit for the money. Humminbird 4064801 HDR 610P In-Dash Digital Depth GaugeReviewsGood unit, and it fits in the standard gauge cluster holes. Since I have a GPS, I have replaced the boat's mechanical oil-filled magnetic compass with this unit. I have a 2002 Stingray 190LX and learned that the factory has made a provision to help owners install a thru-hull transducer for a depth finder like the Humminbird. During manufacture, Stingray workers actually sand down an area beneath the engine, in the correct area to avoid turbulence beneath the transom. This meant that I could forgo the need to load the bilge up with water, put a sandbag on the puck, and do all the location testing that the Humminbird manual prescribes. One shortcoming in the Humminbird manual is the lack of disclosure as to how long the supplied "slow cure" epoxy is supposed to take. I did the work at mid-week, so there was plenty of time before the weekend for it to set. It would be helpful to have a time/temperature chart. You can select between a black or white set of dial faces and outer trim rings. I forgot to peel off the protective cellophane on the digit dial when I stuck the black face on there. Luckily, I was able to peel it off, remove the cellophane, and re-lay the dial face no problem. Regarding the outer ring, it is possible to snap it into place without the tangs correctly aligned with the housing. I did so, and it won't come off on the risk of breaking the ring. It's level enough that you can't tell. Another lesser problem in the book is where it describes the alert device as a "buzzer," when in actuality it is a ceramic "Sonalert" type of noisemaker that's quite loud, and just what's needed when you're in an open boat and up on plane. Think of the noise you hear when the fries are "up" at the fast food place. I wish the backlight were switchable to conserve battery power. I initially ran this depth finder on a non-switched (always on) DC circuit; the same one that supplies the VHF Marine FM radio. In daylight, the backlight is not needed, and there are times when I'm drifting, engine off, that I'd like to keep it powered up. During installation, before setting down the epoxy, I recommend placing the puck in the bilge and routing the wiring along the boat's harness, along the gunwale, and up into the fascia (dashboard). Doing this before you set the unit in the epoxy enables you to rotate and twist the puck, to help work out any twists and kinks in the cable as you feed it from the back to the front of the boat. The manual could be more specific as to the symptoms of interference, and the conditions under which it takes place. Is the cable vulnerable to interference from the VHF marine FM radio that Humminbird mentions in the manual, or does the depth finder potentially generate interference in the radio ? I twice have noticed erroneous readings when the "shallow alarm" was set to 3 feet. The water was more like 15-20 feet deep, and I was not transmitting on the radio when this happened. I also was at a constant forward speed and not crossing any known debris nor turbulence. It's possible this is a case of interference against the depth finder, but it's not coming from inside the boat as far as I can tell or try to re-create. Works very well. Digital indicator installs with minimal effort and problems on the right side of the instrument panel. The internally mounted puck transceiver works perfectly when mounted with epoxy to the inner surface of the bottom of the engine compartment hull just aft of the sump/bilge pump. Simply follow the instructions provided by humminbird, and all will work fine. Transceiver sender cable routes easily from the engine compartment through the starborad (right side) cavity (will take taping and pushing with a 3' slender pole) up to the opening in the console cavity for invisible installation other than the indicator in the console. The installation indicates depth identical to the transceiver at water level external to the boat. It doesn't find fish, but it does indicate depth very well. Average Rating:![]() |
